Trading Faces with Suzanne Forbes

Written by libby on June 26th, 2009

My good pal Suzanne Forbes, traditional portraiture artist with a penchant for painting alternative lifestylers, came to visit Seattle last week and we traded faces! As we both specialize in making other people look and feel great, sometimes we don’t get to participate in being shiny too, so it was super fun and therapeutic to create pictures of each other!

After much mutual caffeine abuse, I photographed the fabulous Suzanne in the studio:

And she painted me in acrylics at my home:

I met Suzanne at 2008’s Bay Area Maker Faire, and she participated in last fall’s 13-person steampunk-themed gallery gig here, ANACHROTECHNOFETISHISM. We’re a pair of well-matched redheads/troublemakers, we are.

See more of Suzanne’s set at my Flickr, or commission her to make you look stupendous for posterity. Thank you.
